The most expensive, and largest homes in San Juan Capistrano can be found in the community of Peppertree Bend. Atop a hillside ridge, these estates have breathtaking views of the valley, and surrounding beach cities.
Peppertree Bend Estates is located on one exclusive street with homes which average about 13,000 square feet of living space. Many of these homes were built in 1981 with others as new as 2003. There is no Home Owners Associations in this custom neighborhood, with some houses situated on over half an acre of land.
There are several private schools in this city including; Serra Catholic High School, St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, and Saddleback Valley Christian School. Public education is offered by the Capistrano Unified School District. Students may attend facilities like Del Obispo Elementary, as well as highly ranked Marcos Forster Middle School and San Juan High School. There are more than 90 colleges in under an hour from this city including Saddleback College and Soka University of America.
Residents are close to major freeways, medical services, parks, trails, stores, and restaurants. San Juan Capistrano has the most diverse real estate in Orange County with a mix of luxury mansions, working ranches, and cottages that were built before 1900. This city is known for the Mission San Juan Capistrano as well as its famous swallows that once migrated to this area from Argentina.
